Healthwatch Pharmacy Survey

Healthwatch Warwickshire would like to hear your experience of using your pharmacy and getting your medication.

Following feedback, we are launching a new survey to find out people’s experiences of getting medication and using pharmacies across Warwickshire.

We would like to know if your needs are being met. The aim is to help the people of Warwickshire get the pharmacy services they need. The feedback received will be presented to Warwickshire’s Health overview and scrutiny committee and passed onto the Local Pharmacy Committee.

Planning Application for Land Adjacent to Avon Carrow Refused

Avon Carrow

A planning application that proposed to build a modern ‘dutch barn’ on farmland adjacent to the Grade II listed, historic house of Avon Carrow was refused by Stratford District Council on 22 May by a unanimous vote. Avon Carrow was built by Cecil Boyle at the end of the nineteenth century. It was bought by the Profumo family in 1926 and it was from the Carrow that John Profumo escaped the press when the spy scandal was exposed in 1963.

A previous application for two residential dwellings was also refused and went to appeal. The appeal was dismissed.

The full discussion can be seen on the Stratford District Council webcast.
