Dassett Country Show

The Dassett Country Show has been confirmed for 7 August 2021!

This is a statement from the committee:

We have been monitoring the Government’s roadmap and the progress being made out of lockdown.
After much debate and discussion, the committee has decided that we will plan to go ahead with the Show this year and that it will take place on Saturday 7th August😊. More details will follow as things are finalised. We may need to be a bit less ambitious in the Main Ring this year just in case we have to cancel after all at a later date. But, we are sure we will have a fun-filled event for all to enjoy. If you have already enquired about a stall at the Show, booking forms will be sent out in the next few days. We look forward to welcoming you back again this year 🤞🤞🤞

The show has been running for in excess of 20 years, and remains a highlight of the summer calendar, bringing together thousands of visitors from far and wide to indulge themselves in local produce and crafts, traditional countryside pursuits, and a real spirit of community and fun.  Highlights last year were the Spa Strummers, the very popular Ukulele Group of Leamington Spa, Warwickshire Hunt hounds, Warwick and Leamington Bee Keepers, Gun Dog display team, the ever popular Dog Show, and Best in Show competition.

All proceeds go to the Show’s nominated charities and local community projects and causes. The 2019 show raised over £4,000 for distribution to the nominated charities and local groups: The Pam Britton Trust for Dementia and Banbury and District Samaritans.
