The Ovo Men’s Tour of Britain will finish stage 7 at Burton Dassett Country Park on 13 September. The tour will be doing circuits from Burton Dassett, past Farnborough Hall and turning left at Avon Dassett village by the play park between c. 1445 and 1600.
Please consider the following information if you are planning to go to the race finish at Burton Dassett.
FREE PARK AND RIDE SERVICE
Johnsons Coaches, Warwickshire County Council and the British Motor Museum will put on a free park and ride shuttle service for the OVO Energy Tour of Britain’s stage finish at Burton Dassett Country Park.
Free parking will be available at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon, approximately four miles from the finish, with a shuttle bus service provided by Johnsons free of charge.
Johnsons shuttles will depart from the British Motor Museum every 15 minutes between 10:30 and 14:00.
The spectator drop-off/pick-up point is approximately 200m from the finish line at Burton Dassett Country Park.
The shuttle service from Burton Dassett Country Park to the British Motor Museum will resume after the race’s podium ceremony (approximately 16:15).

CAR PARKING
Please note that there is no public car parking within Burton Dassett Country Park or on nearby roads on the day of the race.
Some of the surrounding roads are very narrow and not suitable for parking – please do not impede the race route!
The B4100 is double yellow lines around Temple Herdewyke.
BUS
The 77/77A run by Johnsons serves Temple Herdewyke and Northend at the foot of the Burton Dassett climb from Royal Leamington Spa.

ROAD CLOSURES
Road closures come into force at Burton Dassett from early morning on Friday 13 September from the Northend junction at the foot of the climb to the junction with the Avon Dassett Road.
Rolling road closures will be in place for most of the route, with temporary parking restrictions in operation to prevent obstructive parking along the event route.
Advanced warning signs will be in place along the route promoting the restrictions.
TOUR VILLAGE
Don’t forget to visit the Tour Village in Burton Dassett, offering fans a big screen showing full live coverage of the stage, plus exhibits from race partners.
TEAM PARKING
Please note that the team buses will be parked within MOD Kineton off the B4100 following the stage and there is strictly no public access to this area.
LOCAL AMENITIES
Due to its nature as a hill-top finish there are no permanent amenities on the climb itself, however temporary toilet facilities will be available for spectators.
The nearest location for food and drink is the Red Lion public house in Northend at the foot of the climb, or The Yew Tree public house in Avon Dassett on the far side of the climb.
Tiki Tonga will be retailing coffee and light refreshments from the Tour Village.
