On the evening of 21 April 2016 the Queen will light the first in a chain of 1,000 beacons across the country and worldwide that will celebrate her birthday.

As part of the celebrations a beacon will be lit at Burton Dassett Country Park at 8.30 pm.

This event is being organised by Burton Dassett Parish Council in conjunction with the MOD.
