The first Avon Dassett Parish Plan was fully adopted in October 2007. The final version was completed in February 2008 and there was a launch to update the village on progress against the Action Plan on 9th March 2008. The Parish Plan incorporated a Housing Needs Survey.
In 2019, the parish council undertook a second housing needs survey and in 2021 it was decided to refresh the Parish Plan. The refreshed Parish Plan was adopted by both Avon Dassett Parish Council and Stratford on Avon District Council in May 2022.
