Sarah Richardson and Liz Hirst will be organising this year’s Assembly on behalf of the village. Wine, tea and treats will be served.
The focus of the Assembly will be on planning and how it impacts the local area.
Topics will include:
- the local plan, including recent changes in government approaches, and what this might mean for Avon Dassett and surrounding villages
- planning in a conservation area – what is possible and what is not
- the planning application process
- what is taken into consideration when responding to a planning application
- the Parish Council’s role
