DEMENTIA FRIENDLY COMMUNITIES IN WARWICKSHIRE: FREE TRAINING FOR FRONTLINE WORKERS IN WARWICKSHIRE OFFER
Warwickshire County Council, through Public Health are offering your organisation / team access to free dementia awareness training as a way of raising awareness and understanding of dementia and creating a more Dementia Friendly Warwickshire*. In summary:
- Sessions include raising awareness of dementia, supporting and communicating with people with dementia, Dementia Friendly Communities, dementia services and support Further details of course aims and outcomes are detailed on the attached sheet
- Sessions last up to three hours and are delivered at your workplace / venue
- Sessions are for 10-20 people
- All resources are provided
- Training must be delivered by end March 2018 at very latest
- Organisations requesting this free training will be supported to sign up to the local Dementia Action Alliance.
